The short version: Mizan stores all your financial data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal or financial information. Your data belongs to you and stays on your device.
Mizan ("the app") is a personal finance application available on iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains how Mizan handles your information. By using Mizan, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
We collect no personal data. Mizan is an offline-first application. All data you enter — transactions, wallets, budgets, debts, saving goals, and any other financial information — is stored exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database.

This data is only accessible by the Mizan app on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Mizan includes an optional manual backup feature that exports your data as a JSON file to your device's local storage or a location you choose (such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive). This backup is initiated entirely by you. Mizan does not automatically upload or sync your data anywhere. You are responsible for the security of any backup files you create and store.
Mizan does not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries. We do not track how you use the app.
Mizan does not integrate with any third-party services that collect personal data. The app does not require an account, login, or any form of registration.
The only optional external network request the app may make is for fetching currency exchange rates, which are used solely within the app and do not include any personal information.
Mizan does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app contains no features directed at children and collects no data from any user regardless of age.
Since Mizan stores no data on external servers, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete on your behalf. To delete all app data, simply delete the app from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
